Who is this guide for?

This guide is for foreign nationals living in Ankara, embassy and consulate staff, employees of international organisations, academics, students and their families. Parents looking for an orthodontic check-up for their child, people whose treatment started in another country and adults who want to straighten their teeth can all follow the same steps.

Which languages can I use?

Our team includes staff who speak English, German and Russian. You can send your appointment request in any of these languages; at the examination, treatment options, aligner wear rules and the check-up schedule are explained in a language you understand. You can also ask about information and consent documents during the visit.

Where is the clinic?

The clinic is in the Park Oran Office building on Kudüs Street in the Oran neighbourhood of Çankaya (Shop No. 70). It is next to Panora Mall, opposite One Tower Mall, and close to Gaziosmanpaşa and Kavaklıdere, where many embassies are located. For directions, see the getting here from Çankaya and around page.

How do I book an appointment?

  1. Call +90 312 911 60 36 or send a WhatsApp message to the same number.
  2. Or fill in the form on the contact page and add your preferred language to your message.
  3. The day and time of the examination are arranged with you. The clinic is open Monday–Saturday, 09:00–20:00.

What to bring to the examination

  • An ID document or passport
  • Any previous dental or orthodontic records (X-rays, a treatment summary, the aligner or retainer you use)
  • A list of the medicines you take and any known allergies
  • Your child's previous dental records if the appointment is for your child

A first orthodontic check-up for children

For children at international or Turkish schools in Ankara, a first orthodontic check-up is usually recommended at around age 7. This does not always mean starting treatment; for most children, monitoring at set intervals is all that is needed. How long your family will stay in Ankara is also taken into account in planning. Details are on the early orthodontic treatment page.

Clear aligners or braces?

Which method suits you is decided at the examination, based on your teeth, your expectations and your daily routine. For people who travel often or have a fixed posting, practical points such as check-up intervals and spare aligners are also discussed. A comparison of the two methods is on the clear aligners or braces? page.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can the examination be in English? Our team includes staff who speak English, German and Russian; just mention your preferred language when booking.
  • Can I be examined without a Turkish residence permit? An ID document or passport is enough for the examination.
  • More questions: Patients' common questions are answered by topic on the frequently asked questions page.

What happens at the examination?

At the first examination your concerns are heard and your teeth, gums and bite are assessed. If needed, X-rays and photos are taken and the teeth are recorded digitally with an intraoral scanner. Whether clear aligners suit you is discussed at this stage. We describe the steps in detail on the first orthodontic examination page.

If you need to leave Ankara

For patients whose posting will end or who will move to another country, the treatment plan is discussed with this in mind from the start. If treatment will continue elsewhere, you can be given a copy of your records. Information for patients whose treatment started abroad is on the continuing Invisalign treatment started abroad page.

Fees and documents

The treatment fee is given to you in writing after the examination and treatment planning. You can ask at the examination about documents you may need for your private health insurance; coverage and reimbursement depend on your insurer. The factors that affect the fee are explained on the what determines the fee? page.

This page is for general information and does not replace an examination or diagnosis.
