Are clear aligners right for you? A general information quiz
This short quiz is designed to help you review the general factors that can affect planning for clear aligner (Invisalign) treatment. It does not diagnose, does not recommend treatment and is no substitute for an examination. Only a dentist can decide on suitability, after examining you.
General assessment
Your answers do not point to any obvious factor that could complicate planning. Even so, whether clear aligners are right for you can only be determined at an examination, by assessing your teeth, gums and jaw structure.
General assessment
Some of the answers you selected (gum health, jaw joint, wear time or restorations in the mouth) are factors that are assessed separately when planning clear aligner treatment. This does not mean aligners are unsuitable; these points need to be discussed together at the examination.
In children under 12, jaw and tooth development is still ongoing, so the timing of treatment is assessed separately. For details, see our page on orthodontic treatment in children.
For the 12–17 age group, the treatment plan is based on tooth and jaw development. For details, take a look at our information on Invisalign for teens.
As a next step, you can book an examination appointment or read general information on our What is Invisalign page.
This quiz is for general information only; your answers are not saved or sent.
